Na ontvangst was ik verbaasd dat de kartonnen doos in zwart plastic was verpakt. Na verwijdering van het plastic zag ik een gat in de doos. Bij het uitpakken was karton nat, glas kapot en voedsel eruit gelopen. Em Trof meer beschadigd voedsel aan.
Naar mijn mening is de.bestelling niet goed ingepakt maar er is ook wild omgegaan met de doos. Dit is de tweede keer en bestel hier niet meer.

Vervelend om te horen dat je pakket stuk is aangekomen dit is zeker niet de bedoeling. Ik heb je klacht doorgezet naar het magazijn om te kijken wat er nog verder verbeterd kan worden m.b.t. het inpakken van je bestelling. Wat betreft je vorige bestelling kan ik geen klacht van je vinden. Er zit een kaartje bij je bestelling als iets niet goed is om het on te laten weten zodat we het kunnen oplossen.
Kan je aangeven wat bij deze bestelling niet meer bruikbaar is dan zullen we dit natuurljk vergoeden en gaan ook een onderzoek starten bij DPD wat er mis is gegaan tijdens het transport.
Onze excuses voor het ongemak en laat even weten wat de breuk was.

All ordered products were delivered on time. However, after paying 56 Euro shipping cost (!), one of the three glasses containing Atjar Tjampoer had opened during shipping. The liquid leaking out spoiled the rest of the shipment. The two undamaged Atjar Tjampoer glasses are proof that correct protection was possible. Needless to say, I was not happy.
I commend Real Dutch Food for the immediate reaction and the 3.36 Euro restitution. However, the compensation for a vinegar-soaked shipping box feels a little bit cheap. Still, "thank you".

The lid of one of the jars was probably not properly secured during production. After all, the other three jars arrived in good condition, and all jars are packed in the same way. All glass is protected with bubble wrap. We will, of course, compensate you for the breakage. I hope this has been resolved to your satisfaction. Our apologies for the inconvenience.

Your package was picked up by PostNL on August 24 and has been held by US customs since August 1. Unfortunately, neither we nor the postal service have any influence on the speed of customs processing for packages. You might want to check with them to see if there are any issues and if you need to provide any documents to get the package released. Usually, a package is released within a week, but it can sometimes take longer. That is why the shipping information page states that shipments outside the EU can take 7-21 business days due to customs clearance. If you want the package quickly, I would advise contacting customs in Chicago, who handle USPS clearances, or contact USPS directly.
